The Problem
Why the Boy Child?
Across Kenya, boys are quietly falling through the cracks. More are dropping out of school. More young men are jobless. Too many grow up without a father figure or a mentor, and peer pressure, drugs and hopelessness are quick to fill the gap. Bold Roots exists to fill it first: with a coach, a mentor, a school place and a chance to earn.

Core programmes
Programmes
Four Programmes. One Purpose.
Play, Rise & Lead
Football, boxing and athletics reach boys who are hard to reach any other way. On the field they learn discipline, teamwork, and how to win with grace and lose with dignity. Our funds cover club fees, gear, transport and tournaments.
Mentorship: Future Fathers
Through regular mentorship sessions, guest speakers and one-on-one check-ins, boys learn responsibility, emotional intelligence, healthy relationships and the honour of fatherhood.
Education Fund
No boy should lose his place in school because he has lost his parents. We pay school fees for orphaned boys and follow their attendance and progress term by term.
Boys Business Fund
For older boys in campus, we provide business coaching and seed funding for small enterprises. They learn to earn, save and lead, and successful boys come back to mentor the next.
